General Standards for Crops
The general standards for crops consist of several sub-groups, namely: economic crops, and other crop groups.

General Standards for Crops

Sub-group: Rice
    Rice is an important economic crop of Thailand, with various types such as Thai Hom Mali rice, Thai fragrant rice, germinated brown rice, organic rice, and Thai colored rice with high nutritional value. Its production and processing are supported by standards such as GAP, GMP, and good practices for rice mills and rice seeds, in order to enhance quality.

Sub-group: Field Crops
    The sub-group of field crops consists of seed potatoes, mung beans, taro, Chinese kale, onions, yardlong beans, tomatoes, sweet peppers, etc.

Sub-group: Industrial Crops
    The sub-group of industrial crops consists of oil palm and cassava.

Sub-group: Perennial Trees
    The sub-group of perennial crops consists of grapes, avocados, cocoa beans, Job’s tears, longkong, limes, mangoes, durians, longans, etc.

Sub-group: Others
    The sub-group “Others” consists of dried Pangola grass, fresh Pangola grass, orchid inflorescences, chili sauce, mulberry leaf tea, fresh tea leaves, and others.
