ACFS provides information on mandatory and general agricultural commodity standards for farmers, farmer groups, producers, importers, exporters, as well as government officers, to benefit from data related to Thailand’s agricultural commodity standards. The information is compiled from various sources, analyzed, and utilized effectively. It also serves as a gateway to the regulatory system under mandatory standards.
Objective
1) To enable farmers, farmer groups, and entrepreneurs to benefit from the information system that compiles data on agricultural commodities in accordance with mandatory and general standards of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, for use in production planning, import–export activities, and as a knowledge source on mandatory and general standards as well as related regulations. It also serves as a channel for accessing government regulatory oversight.
2) To provide information for officials and executives of relevant agencies to use in planning the supervision of agricultural commodities to ensure their quality and safety in compliance with mandatory and general standards.
