At present, dried raw peanut kernels used as food have been found to be contaminated with aflatoxins, which pose risks to public health and consumer safety. Therefore, it is necessary to control the quality of such agricultural commodities in order to protect consumers and to prevent possible harm to the public by establishing the permissible level and control measures of aflatoxin specifically for peanut kernels intended for use as food, excluding those used for planting purposes.
